Upcycled Bicycle Ideas
If you have been following me for a while now, you may recall the Bike Planter I made last summer.
I posted this planter on my Hometalk page to share it with the wonderful home and garden community there. This year, I had the great pleasure of curating an Upcycled Bicycle Ideas Board for the folks at Hometalk.
There are so many great project idea on Hometalk. I really love this bike fountain.
While I’m not sure I would use books for one I would make for my home, I just love the unusual idea. Wouldn’t it be a fun fountain outside of a library? So awesome!
Another great idea I found was bike chain chandy.
I think this would be such a fun conversation piece in a bike-themed room. It’s just so unique and interesting and I love that about it.
A Portland artist made this beautiful light catcher from old bike gears. I am so amazed by the creativity of people. I just threw some planters on my bike and called it good. There are so many other lovely planters I included in this collection, too. Here are a couple of my favorites.
Look how adorable that vintage fishing creel is with flowers in it.
I love the happy yellow bike with the yellow flowers. Too cute!
