Miracle-Gro® Expand ‘n Gro™ Concentrated Planting Mix Giveaway!

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Scotts®. All opinions are 100% mine.

When I got back from Las Vegas last week, the sun was shining in Ohio and we had a beautiful week. I got a crazy thought. Actually, the thought has been rattling around in my head for awhile now. See, I’ve been wanting to plant a garden. This may not sound crazy to you, as many people love to garden. I actually enjoy it, too, but gardening to me has always meant that we were going to move. Usually before we could harvest our garden. I stopped gardening because I got tired of moving.

Since moving to our house on the hill, it seems a crying shame to let all this land go to waste. It’s with a great amount of faith that I am willing to plant any kind of garden this year.

We’ve already started.

We’ve got several varieties of tomatoes, some corn, peas, peppers, pumpkins, gourds and probably a few other things I can’t remember. You can see that some seeds have shot up like weeds and others are taking their own sweet time.

Our tomatoes, however, are having issues. Here are our best ones.

Pretty sad little tomatoes. Normally, we have plants in every pod, but for some reason, these are the only ones that grew. That’s kind of the thing about growing. You never know what’s going to happen. It’s a lot of work to cultivate plants and if you’re going to go to all that effort,  you might as well improve your chances of success.

I’ve used Micracle-Gro® products throughout the years and I have no trouble believing it will make my efforts pay off with a beautiful, abundant garden.

Expand ‘n Gro™ Concentrated Planting Mix does so much:

  • Up to 3X the Flowers and Vegetables!* *versus native soil
  • Significantly improves soil for multiple years
  • Concentrated planting mix expands up to 3X when water is added
  • Feeds for up to 6 months
  • All natural fibers hold up to 50% more water than basic potting soil

I love that it expands. No more buying bags and bags of soil. The coconut coir fibers in the mix are what makes it expand so much. When you have a large area to plant, this is a great benefit. I happen to have a large area to plant. We are going to be tilling most of this area up.

Not only does it expand, but it will improve your soil for multiple years. This means you don’t have to keep adding to your soil year after year. That’s a huge savings of time and money.

My soil needs some love. I just dug up this area by the house for a flower garden.

While I still have to mulch the bed,  you can see how much work the soil needs. We have a lot of clay in our soil so adding Expand ‘n Gro™ could really improve it. Not only will Expand ‘n Gro™ make my soil more workable, but it will feed the plants for up to 6 months. I can’t wait to try it out on my peonies.

I’ve wanted peonies for years and I’m excited to see these bloom.

Would you like to try it for yourself? Be sure to leave me a comment and tell me what you would like to use it on. You must be a frou fruGal follower to win.

Now, here’s hoping I live here long enough to enjoy my tomatoes.
