CSN Product Review

Hi Gals!

When CSN Stores contacted me about doing a product review for them, I was thrilled. See, this past Christmas I’d discovered the absolute joy and bliss of online shopping. Sure, I’ve purchased things online before, but mostly it was the occasional eBay item or office supplies or things like that. Very rarely had I tried to do regular, everyday shopping online. Then Christmas hit. The boys wanted Kinect for the Xbox 360. Kinect is the movement game sensor that essentially turns the Xbox into a Wii-type gaming system. I didn’t really have my Christmas act together because we’d been dealing with one illness or another in our house since early November.

Being the last minute shopper good Mom that I am, I schlepped out into the cold, snowy weather to find my boys a Kinect. Here’s the thing you need to know about me. I live in a mid-sized Ohio town, halfway between Columbus and Cleveland. I have a world of shopping open to me IF I want to drive 45 minutes to an hour to get to it. If I don’t want to do that, I have the basics at my disposal. Wal-Mart, Target, Best Buy, Sam’s Club and stores like that. Being the desperate excellent Mom that I am, I hit Every. Single. Store. In. Town that could possibly sell a Kinect. No dice, AND, they weren’t likely to get one before Christmas.

Did I mention that it was snowing when I did this? And I was sick? And Christmas was about 10 days away? I went home empty-handed and feeling like the world’s worst Mom. Later that day I was telling my woes to my brother during one of our online chats. He told me to go online and buy it. I did. It took me 5 minutes to order it and the Kinect shipped 1.5 hours later. Christmas was saved! I had it well before Christmas and was so thrilled with the experience I vowed to try more online shopping.

Enter CSN Stores. Here is my chance to give online shopping another whack. They suggested I look at a laptop messenger bag. They have a huge variety of ones and I’d actually be interested in this product, if, you know, I actually owned a laptop. I’m old school. I have a desktop computer and I don’t want to be lugging that thing around, no matter how cute the bag is!

Did you know that CSN Stores have more than 200 stores to shop from? They have quite the selection of goods to choose from.

I’m debating what I might want to review from CSN.

Perhaps a new dog bed, like this one:

so Fur Child will stop sleeping on my pillows.

Or, perhaps I’ll get some replacement ink cartridges for the free color printer I got from Freecycle this past Fall.

Maybe I need to think about my kitchen for a minute, which, truth be told, is the very LAST room in my house I think about buying anything for.

I could use some new storage pieces like these.

Maybe I need something just for me. Like a new purse. I love me some purses!

I need a new Biker Chick bag. My old one popped a few grommets. It was a sad day.

If I want to review something for my teenage boys, I’d have to go with this:

Risk + Halo = Teenage-Boy Love.

I wouldn’t see them for days. Wait. Perhaps I should rethink this one…then again…I don’t want to be too hasty. What?! I’m just saying, is all. It needs some serious thought.

Gah!

There’s so much to choose from. I’m not sure how I’m going to be able to decide. I’ll be sure to let you know when I have it figured out. If you’re interested in any of the products I showed you, go ahead and click on the picture. It’ll take you right to CSN where you can order one for yourself.

What about you? Do you like to shop online? Have you tried CSN? I’d love to hear about it.
