Here’s what does work:

Using 6 lb. Test line (found in the bead section at Wal-Mart) tie the line onto the top frame using a Tautline Hitch. Always start and end with a clear seed bead.
Thread beads onto your line in whatever pattern you like, starting with the bottom beads and working up to the top beads.

The clear beads are your anchor beads. They will hold your other beads onto the line. Whenever you put a clear bead on,  you have to go through the bead twice with the line. This second wrap puts tension on the line and helps the bead hold it’s place on the line. Once you have your line secured on the frame, the beads slide up & down the line very easily, but won’t moved after they’re in place.

After you have your knot tied and the clear bead on the line, thread the dab a drop of glue onto the knot and slide the bead up to
